The Malaysia Effie Awards has opened its doors for submissions of effective marketing campaigns for the 2014 competition. The Awards is jointly organized by the Malaysian Advertising Association (MAA), Association of Accredited Advertising Agents Malaysia (4As) and Media Specialists Association (MSA), in association with the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE).
At its core, the Effie Awards recognizes and honors the most outstanding marketing ideas and executions that catapult brands into a special place among consumers. And the theme for this year’s Malaysia Effie Awards - “Your Journey to Greatness” focuses on exploring fundamental skills and insights that lead to the creation of such amazing campaigns.
This year’s Malaysia Effie Awards will be led by jury chairman Simon Kahn, Google Asia Pacific’s chief marketing officer who is based in Singapore. The 2014 Malaysia Effie Awards is open to all agencies for campaigns which ran in Malaysia between June 1, 2013 and May 30, 2014. The winners will be announced at the Awards Presentation & Gala Night 2014 on October 2, 2014.
