In conjunction with the 2015 Call for Entries, APAC Effie embarked on a series of roadshows in the region to share about marketing effectiveness. Owing to the great support from local partners, the roadshows took place over October and November, covering a total of 9 cities which include Hong Kong, Tokyo, Taipei, Guiyang, Seoul, Singapore, Jakarta, Ho Chi Minh City and Bangkok.
The roadshows garnered very keen response from the industry and attracted the participation of agencies, clients and media friends who were enthusiastic to learn about Effies. Worthy a mention, the seminars were also very well received in markets such as Ho Chi Minh and Bangkok which are relatively new to Effies!
APAC Effie also collaborated with Gfk, one of the world’s top market research organization, to present the APAC Effie Report - an analysis of the Effie Awards cases revealing key insights and trends on what it takes to create and implement effective marketing communications strategies, at the seminars.
Other highlights included the sharing of marketing effective case studies where speakers took the audience through the tips to writing successful cases, what makes a winning entries and examples of APAC Effie gold winning cases. Participants also had the opportunity to hear directly from judges who were invited to share their judging experiences.
